Experience
I have worked for over ten years in design and am currently Art Director at queue in Raleigh. After graduating from UNC-Chapel Hill's Kenan-Flagler Business School, I found that design was where I wanted to be. I utilize my business knowledge and lifelong love of all things art to create effective marketing tools that meet goals and communicate messages with style.

What makes me tick.
I love Macs. I spend too much of my free time looking at vintage typography. I'm one of the few people left that likes professional basketball. And I fell in love with design and marketing because it's something new just about every day and there's never a right answer — just ideas that work.
How I keep up.
iPhone
It has become as necessary as my computer. Not sure how people stayed on schedule before it existed.
Note/Sketch Pad
Meetings and phone calls are usually the perfect time to scribble out that next big idea. And taking notes too.
The Right Color
Small differences in color can mean a lot. The right color is so necessary for much more than logos.
Inspiration
Online, outside or on a shelf — good work needs to be inspired. I like to figure out why something worked, then adapt.
Moleskine
Useful in countless ways — catches all my ideas and still has time to act like a paperweight, coaster and wallet. Just incredible.
