The client wanted a fun, approachable logo to connect with their tech-savvy audience. After exploration, we uncovered that their unique factor was a down and dirty work ethic that created websites using a wide scope of tools. This influenced the name of the company so it became the theme for the brand identity as well.

Hard Hat Primary LogoLogo Usage

We created a character to represent the brand and use this as the primary brand mark. The type is hard-working and represents classic American values of determination and merit while some more fluid style is brought in with the letterform curves in the tagline under it. The result was a nice balance of strong visual appeal and sturdy forms. The icon set was expanded to include the character working with objects in the web design and development process along with lots of development and tool icons to be used on the website.
