Lenoir Memorial Hospital is a small community hospital in Kinston, NC. They needed help in spreading the word about the availability of percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI), an advanced cardiac treatment for clogged arteries. I led my agency's efforts to build an integrated awareness campaign to attract attention and educate the community on the procedure.
The primary icon became a heart made from two thumbprints which tied seamlessly into our other branding efforts for the hospital centered around personal care from people you know. It was featured in print, online, outdoor and more. Simple and easy-to-understand messaging helped make it fast and easy for the community to realize what was now available at LMH and the benefits it brought to them.
Part of the educational aspect of the campaign was the development of a microsite that featured an explanation of the procedure, its benefits and how to get started. It featured dynamic text, large visuals, a video and more. The microsite was promoted in all of the campaign materials making it easy for the client to track visitors to the site and effectively measure our efforts.
